I have been searching for a proficient massage therapist for a considerable time; many claim to offer 'deep tissue' but only deliver a basic massage. This is not the case with Mel! I have very high standards concerning health and she has certainly exceeded them - exceptional service! Mel is attentive, attentive to your needs, and possesses extensive knowledge. To get to Therapeutika Deep Tissue Massage at 2/326 Sunset Road, Mairangi Bay, Auckland 0632, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 874 from Auckland CBD and get off at the stop near Mairangi Bay Shops. From there, walk south on Sunset Road for about 3 minutes to reach the salon. If driving, head north on State Highway 1, take the exit toward East Coast Bays Road, turn left onto East Coast Bays Road, then left onto Sunset Road. The salon will be on your right after about 2 crossroads.

The establishment is incredibly stunning, and the ambiance is delightful. The therapists are truly skilled, and it's always a pleasurable experience... except for today. It's the first time I've been counting down the minutes until the therapy session concluded, the first time I leave with a sore neck, requiring another session to recover, and the first time it's left me with a headache. I'm not sure if the therapist was having a rough day and took it out on me, but it was an awful and highly unadvisable experience. If you're considering visiting this establishment, by all means, do so, I recommend it, but steer clear of FORTUNATE. It felt like she was trying to inflict pain with every touch.
