I started seeing Roberta towards the end of my pregnancy, and I have continued for a year now. The sessions have been incredibly beneficial for my postpartum aches and pains, as well as being restorative on multiple levels. Roberta is dedicated to her craft and always maintains a professional demeanor. I highly recommend her services!
I received a gift of a one-hour pregnancy massage from White Crane, which I was eagerly anticipating as I am in the final weeks of my pregnancy and experiencing some discomfort. I called on Monday to schedule the appointment for Wednesday, and everything seemed fine. However, my obstetrician requested that I undergo an ultrasound due to some concerns about the baby, and the ultrasound appointment coincided with the massage appointment. Upon learning this, I called White Crane at 10:05 AM, but they did not answer, so I left a voicemail explaining the situation and requesting to reschedule. I received a voicemail two hours later stating that my gift certificate would be void if I did not make the appointment because I was supposed to call by 10 AM. This was the first time I had been informed that the certificate would become void for missing an appointment, especially considering the unforeseen circumstances and my call being just 5 minutes late due to their lack of response. Additionally, there was no mention of specific criteria for rescheduling when I made the booking. My mother owns a beauty and massage business, and she has never implemented such a policy, which adds to my confusion about this situation. While I cannot comment on the quality of the service provided by White Crane, I personally find this entire experience unprofessional, as they have accepted payment without providing the service. I will reconsider using their services in the future.
I am not reviewing the actual massage (as my spouse has not yet received it), but I want to express my gratitude to White Crane for their exceptional assistance in arranging a last-minute birthday gift. I truly appreciate the extra effort they put in to ensure I had a lovely gift to present to my spouse on her birthday.
