Honestly, I really wanted to enjoy this spot but my experiences with Brazilian waxing here have been below par on multiple occasions. I've tried 3 different therapists and each time, they've missed spots, disregarded my preferred shape, and despite requesting hard wax, Ruby still used strips for most of the Brazilian. There should be an option for extended appointment slots so that if a client prefers hard wax, the esthetician can take their time as I understand it requires more precision to let the wax set. Having been waxed consistently for a decade, I know the standards to expect, and regrettably, my recent visit was the final disappointment that led me to decide not to return.

How can i get there

To get to Index Studio at 6 Newton Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1010, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 020 from Queen Street to Richmond Road, then walk for about 5 minutes to reach the salon. If driving, head west on Karangahape Road, turn left onto Ponsonby Road, then turn right onto Richmond Road and finally left onto Newton Road to arrive at the salon.
