I typically refrain from leaving feedback, but Harper's work on my tattoos was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. I genuinely believe that anyone considering a tattoo should schedule an appointment here; exceptional service and fair rates aside, I felt valued, acknowledged, and respected. Harper took the time to ensure my comfort throughout the entire process, and visiting the studio was a truly delightful experience. I will definitely return for any future tattoo projects I have in mind!

Jaxon did this cover up piece on my leg. Tricky task as I didn't want it too dark, but the initial tattoo was quite dark. I reckon he did a top job concealing it and transforming it into a deeply symbolic piece that I'm really chuffed with :) and the pain was bearable. Spacious, spotless, serene, and exquisite studio... the staff showed excellent communication and a warm welcome! They made special efforts to accommodate us in their schedule as we were only visiting on vacation for a few days. The artists here are incredibly talented, specializing in fine line tattoos.
Initially planning to visit a different studio, we were captivated by this one upon passing by, admiring all the artists' work displayed and engaging with the reception staff. Delighted to have encountered such compassionate and considerate artists!

First of all I tried 3 times to say hello but no answer from the lady when I know she heard me well.
She tells me the price 46$.
I said "sorry I just have 100 dollars on me " and then she SIGHED at me and rolls her eyes ?!
After that I say "Have a nice day " and she looks away without saying it back?!

To get to Black Cat Tattoo at 5x Central Road, Kingsland, Auckland 1021, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 20 from the city center and get off at the Kingsland train station. From there, it's just a short walk to the studio. If driving, head towards Kingsland and turn onto Central Road from New North Road, then look for the studio on your left after a few blocks.
