Such a lack of respect! I scheduled an appointment and planned my day around it, considering I have a 5 month old baby to care for. They messaged me saying they would be 20 minutes late, then later said it could take even longer. I went to the salon to inquire about the delay, understanding that appointments can change (especially since I have to arrange child care), but they were neither apologetic nor helpful. When I mentioned my child was waiting in the car with my mother, they rudely questioned why the child was there and refused to do my hair. I no longer wanted their services, but it's disheartening to encounter such arrogance and disrespect from someone working in a salon, let alone owning it. I had to adjust my schedule to accommodate the appointment, so it's disappointing to see individuals like this managing businesses. I'm frustrated and hope they don't treat other mothers the same way. Mean-spirited and disrespectful... I will definitely warn other mums in Wellington about this salon. I won't be recommending it.About

Honestly, I really wanted to enjoy this spot but my experiences with Brazilian waxing here have been below par on multiple occasions. I've tried 3 different therapists and each time, they've missed spots, disregarded my preferred shape, and despite requesting hard wax, Ruby still used strips for most of the Brazilian. There should be an option for extended appointment slots so that if a client prefers hard wax, the esthetician can take their time as I understand it requires more precision to let the wax set.

The technician was a delightful individual and one of the most sought-after brow experts at the salon. However, my brows ended up looking worse than they did before I arrived. These treatments seem to only work well for specific shapes and hair lengths (mine look much better when not trimmed but following the natural hair flow). Fortunately, I opted for a hybrid tint at $85 instead of investing over $1,000 in something permanent. So, ladies, be cautious. Don't be swayed by the hype; it's best to test and try before committing. The in-person customer service was excellent, but there was some disorganization and unprofessionalism beforehand. (Be wary of the voucher system, as it may not function correctly, leading you to pay double until your refund is processed.) I opted for a challenging placement (on my back, shoulder, and collarbone to complement my existing moko) and she custom-designed the entire moko from scratch, ensuring it fit precisely where I envisioned!
