Absolutely no issues since transitioning to Ecotricity. Any excess power from our solar panels is sold back to the grid at the same rate we pay for grid supply. It's a shame that the Wellington Networks line charges are not as reasonable.
I adore the detailed breakdown of the Ecotricity bill. I can clearly see how much the electricity costs me versus the lines charges, instead of having everything combined. But more importantly, I can see how much I'm saving and selling back to the grid with my SolarZero solar panels. Contributing to saving the planet one sunny day at a time!
Have no problem with the provider. The invoice is easy to understand. The network fees are quite high, but that's on Vector, not Ecotricity. I think the timeframe to settle your bill with the discount could be a bit longer, not just 10 days. Also, having an app where I can easily view the bill and payment period to budget for the short payment window would be helpful. I know you can log in to the website, but an app is more convenient than searching for your customer number. Sometimes I log in once and then have trouble the next time, not sure if it's the password or login details.
