I have had my hair styled three times here over about 6 months. I've had three different individuals style my hair but have always been pleased with the outcome. The hairstyles have always been really good and the price was reasonable for a decent guys hair styling - $28
First time I visited, I didn't feel completely heard, but I returned today and the hairdresser truly took it step by step, inquiring about what I desired and if I was content, not removing too much so that we could adjust along the way. A challenging task for him, as I'm attempting to grow my hair out. Very content with the outcome, the experience, and the price.
Third time visiting this place. The first 2 times were amazing! Would highly recommend the hairdresser who styled my hair the first two times (lucy). I even suggested to my other mates. But the last time, not so good (Juno, the owner, styled my hair). It took me half a year, 3 haircuts, 200 bucks and essentially chopping my long hair very short, to try and rectify the ruined haircut they gave me. It essentially appeared like I had a terrible wig on. Also, Juno had the most terrible attitude towards the customers. I returned to express that I am not content with the haircut. She mentioned it was my fault and I requested this haircut. I have been requesting a "layer cut" my entire life and I have never received a mullet kind of wolf cut. She mentioned this is what "kiwis" generally get so she assumed I wanted the same. She did not even make an effort to layer the hair initially or at least attempt to rectify it later. Do not go there for the low-cost haircut. You are essentially gambling on who will be there. If you encounter Juno, a Pacific Islander with short hair, do not style your hair with her. You are better off spending 45 bucks elsewhere for a haircut.
