This is not those massage businesses where one gets a peaceful (Balinese) style atmosphere, its more of an atypical massage parlor one would see along the streets of south easy asia. My masseuse specifically was talking during the massage to me or the other staff and also belched at times lol. She also mainly speak mandarin with very limited English.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Although not the fanciest looking place from the exterior, this is by far, hands down, the BEST massage I’ve ever had in my life. I felt like I was being beaten, remolded and reshaped several times over - in the most wonderful way. Knots I didn’t even know existed were dug out and soothed away. This massage certainly isn’t for the faint hearted - there’s strong pressure and then there’s Hercules level power. This is the latter. I think I will be flying to Wellington just for this massage.
