Outstanding local hair stylist, with surprisingly affordable rates. Ken gives a fantastic blowout with a relaxing head massage (around 45 minutes for my medium-length hair); just $30. Stands out compared to most blowout bars in the area. A few reserved parking spots at the rear. I've been a regular here for about 2 years and always delighted with the service.
Ken is fluent in a bit of English and mainly Mandarin, while I was the opposite. Though communication was a bit of a challenge, he grasped the haircut I desired for summer and was bold enough to advise that the purplish-black shade I wanted wasn't suitable, agreeing on a dark brown hue instead. A great cut with wash & colour at a reasonable rate near Auckland CBD. By appointment only. Thanks, Ken!
I had no clue what a great trim was until I stepped into this spot. They patiently guide you on what may or may not suit you after you describe your desired style. I would definitely return! The trim is worth every penny!
