Rude cashier. First of all I tried 3 times to say hello but no answer from the lady when I know she heard me well. She tells me the price 46$. I said "sorry I just have 100 dollars on me " and then she SIGHED at me and rolls her eyes ?! After that I say "Have a nice day " and she looks away without saying it back?! Honestly I don’t know if that lady was having a bad day but it is not okay to be like this with customers.
1 Star = minus 5 in this case. My godson entered this establishment seeking a nose piercing, fully aware that his father was not allowing him at this time, due to his age (14) and desired him to wait. Despite telling the initial employee he was 16, the employee used their better judgement and, acting in compliance with Wellington Council regulations, refused service without proof of age and parental consent. However, my godson sought the assistance of the second person in the shop, who happened to be the manager. Shockingly, the manager proceeded with the procedure without verifying his age or obtaining parental consent. This behaviour is unacceptable, as it demonstrates a lack of ethical conduct and adherence to district laws, all for the sake of a few dollars - from a minor. Appalling shameful conduct from Lovisa Lambton Quay, Wellington.
Just had the worst encounter with the staff there... its just so very sad when someone who is meant to be there to help customers acts privileged, refuses to take ownership of their own job and doesn't talk to customers with basic respect . Normally the girls there in the past have been helpful, I doubt I'd go in there again she's completely put me off.
