Dropped $50 for a ten-minute buzz cut that I had to tidy up myself for half an hour with my own clippers. Stray hairs all over, some 3cm long, and a big patch missed at the back. Wanted some scissor work on top but the young barber wasn't keen, he hurried me out of the chair. Won't be returning. Maybe they clock out early on Saturday afternoons?

The Barber's Den, Ponsonby, is the spot for an early morning trim. My daughter popped in, got a sharp new look, and still made it to school on time. She's over the moon with her haircut. The variety of clippers and scissors impressed her. She's found her go-to barber now. Money well spent. Daughter happy, mum happy, school happy 😅. It's gonna be a top day.
