That's quite the experience you had, mate. Maybe a bit of oversight on their part, reckon they should tighten up their procedures. Could be a dodgy situation, who knows. Getting charged double is a bit rough, they owe you an apology for sure.
My young fella, only 14, popped into this barber shop for a trim. But would you believe it, they went and gave him a head perm without my say-so! When I rang up to sort it out, the barber reckoned he explained it all in Chinese to my boy. But my lad swears he had no clue what was happening - never had a perm before. If they're offering stuff to teens, they need parental consent, right? Seems like a bit of a legal slip-up here, gonna have to take it up with the consumer watchdog. Update: Cheers for getting back to me, but you can keep the cash for the service. But it's not about the money, it's about the principle. Some things you just can't do, especially with a minor. I've reported this to the Commerce Commission, let's see where it goes.
