Avondale R.S.A. is the spot to socialize on a Sunday evening. They excel in every aspect, offering generous and scrumptious meals at a great price. Vanessa Parker does an excellent job. The bar staff are quick and efficient, and the karaoke entertainment is the icing on the cake. I wasn't aware that was an option, but I am grateful that she made that possible for me. I went back and got it cut down which was the best outcome I could've hoped for. I usually visit them once a month because their service was top-notch. But today was a nightmare. I went in for eyebrow threading and waxing on my upper lip, chin, and lower chin. The lady rushed through my eyebrows and ended up damaging my skin. There were tiny blood spots near my right eyebrow. The waxing was unusually painful as well. The management needs to up their game in service quality, or this salon's days are numbered.

I was promised a call or text for rescheduling, but it's been two weeks with no word. The staff seemed preoccupied, I needed assistance but they merely observed without offering help. No greetings at the checkout counter or when exiting the store. Absolutely appalled and disgusted by the way a young lady (Pakeha or European with straight hair) treated my 3 year old daughter when she innocently tried out a bike horn while we were looking to buy a bicycle. It is unacceptable to display rudeness and irritation towards a child; customer service skills are clearly lacking. Treating others with respect should be a basic principle. I have never encountered such hostility towards a child before, and I will not be returning to this place. This incident occurred at approximately 1:45pm near the bicycle section on 21 July 2024.
