I spent a day at VillaKiwi retreat learning relaxation massage. I adored the tranquil ambiance of the retreat, surrounded by lush greenery. I immediately felt at ease there, especially with the two instructors Kiwi and George! They complement each other perfectly, with Kiwi being incredibly gentle and attentive, while George brings a fun and humorous approach. The day was incredibly informative and beneficial for enhancing my massage skills, and I appreciated the hands-on approach with excellent feedback and encouragement throughout the course. I wholeheartedly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to expand their massage knowledge while enjoying the process. Thank you, Kiwi and George.
My husband & I were given a night away by our son to VillaKiwi Retreat, we were warmly welcomed by Kiwi the owner & escorted to our unit. As a storm approached, Kiwi kindly upgraded us to our sauna suite for added comfort. The room was immaculate with a cozy Queen size bed, a 32-inch TV with a recorder, and a variety of DVDs. Adjacent was a fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee, and milk provided. Beyond that was the sauna room with a rear exit. Since we didn't have any massages booked, we headed to town for dinner. The next morning, Kiwi served us the most delicious and generous vegetarian omelet we've ever had. Thank you for ensuring our stay was so pleasant. Cheers, Kiwi & Kate.
This workshop was absolutely fantastic. I had no prior experience except for giving massages to my family occasionally. The 2-day workshop didn't focus heavily on anatomical and physiological principles but instead emphasized the art of healing through massage and how to deliver it with utmost professionalism. Moreover, Kiwi and George are experts in providing positive and constructive feedback, both through hands-on practice and verbal communication. They were exceptional at recognizing my individual style and strengths, and actively encouraged me (as well as the other participants) to embrace it! Serenity and love :)
