Popped into bunnings today for a fence. Found the fence then headed to the hardware section where a chap named Sam assisted us with hinges and such, which had unfortunately been pinched. Sam provided exceptional service, truly outstanding. If all hardware stores had employees like him, it would be wonderful. Right opposite my hotel, Pak'nSave is one of New Zealand's larger supermarket chains. This is a full service grocery store and I had no trouble putting together a few things for dinner this evening. I popped in to use the post office service to register my car. Ended up picking up a gift for my child from the chemist. They have a diverse selection of gifts here, not just your usual pharmacy items. I also purchased a bamboo athletic bra from the Boody brand, which has a nice collection using bamboo materials. Lovely find. It's a great place to grab a small gift, for children or for couples. I entered Night 'n Day with my elderly grandmother, who faces mental and physical challenges. We were greeted by a kind individual, whom I later learned was named Isaac. Isaac patiently took my grandmother's order and showed great empathy towards her struggles. I sincerely hope this employee receives the recognition they deserve.
