AVOID this place! Staff are rude and arrogant. I called ahead about my son's lawnmower, which was having a battery issue. I had already tested the battery on another tool and it worked fine. When I arrived, I was met by a condescending man. He belittled me, assuming that as a blonde woman, I couldn't possibly know what I was talking about, even though I have experience with various equipment on my farm and in the fire service. I wouldn't even give it one star. He kept insisting, "In our experience, that indicates a battery problem," despite my own diagnosis. I won't return, and I warn others, especially women, about encountering rude, misogynistic individuals here.
I purchased a hedge trimmer that didn't perform well. When I tried to return it, they adamantly refused. After a lengthy argument, they eventually refunded me after a month. They disregard consumer rights and even expect customers to cover courier charges.
Just because I parked by the Kiwi Tool Store in Auckland doesn't mean I used their service. The store is close to the Kiwi Cafe. If you're so good at tracking me, why not ask about the cafe? For every mistake, I'll leave a one-star review. Maybe if enough people complain, you'll step up your game.
