But once it was my turn, they were super friendly. Since it's a walk-in place, I was worried they might not have time, especially with lots of people ahead of me and the shop closing at 5pm. I popped in for a snip. Waited a good half hour. Charmaine assured me my hair would hit my shoulders when straightened. Couldn't stick around for the blow wave due to the delay. Hair ended up way above my shoulder. Ugh. Disappointed. But!! Checked it out in the mirror when dry, and it looks amazing. My boy got a slick High School Fade today (Sunday 30/06/24). Didn't catch the barber's name, but he was the absolute legend! Nailed the fade on my son. We've tried 5 barbers in the past year, and he's never been happier than when he left Musa's Barber Mairehau today. He's been grinning ear to ear since. Growing a mullet, he wanted the top trimmed and the sides faded. The barber got it spot on, a solid 10/10.
