In need of a hair makeover during my travels across New Zealand, a pal scheduled me an appointment at Mods Hair. I am overjoyed that she did because Mia grasped my vision perfectly and proceeded to give me the most fantastic haircut I've had in ages. All the team members were delightful, courteous, and engaging. Sadly, I won't be able to return, but only because traveling 18,000 kilometers is quite a trek for a hair appointment! My boy got a slick High School Fade today (Sunday 30/06/24). Didn't catch the barber's name, but he was the absolute legend! Nailed the fade on my son. We've tried 5 barbers in the past year, and he's never been happier than when he left Musa's Barber Mairehau today. He's been grinning ear to ear since. Growing a mullet, he wanted the top trimmed and the sides faded. The barber got it spot on, a solid 10/10.

I visited this barbershop today due to the 4.8 Kiwi rating. One of the worst trims I've ever had. I had been growing my hair for months and told the barber I wanted a fade but to maintain the majority of the length. They cut everything short and didn't even do a fade. It felt like they put in no effort. The whole process took less than ten minutes and cost $40. I'm baffled by the 4.8 rating. Definitely avoid this place for a trim.About
