I've visited a few times, all good until now. A while back, I messaged an artist about a tattoo, got a price, booked an appointment. Day of, an hour before, they cancel. I live out of town, halfway there. Asked to see design before rebooking, never sent. Contacted them, silence. Weeks later, told price tripled, no design. When I questioned, rudely told to have a good day and blocked. Disappointing lack of professionalism. Absolutely amazing time! Got a conch and another helix piercing today by a wonderful piercer named Tane, and there was another piercer in the room (didn’t catch their name) who was sterilising piercings and tools; both of them were incredibly engaging and knowledgeable about the piercing process (chatted about piercings, reasons for getting them, the extreme sterility measures, etc). The piercings themselves also look fantastic, and the aftercare advice will ensure they heal properly (in the photos, sorry for the AirPods haha). Overall, my sibling and I (who came in for company, not a piercing) were impressed by everything in the store. Fantastic products, customer service and people! They offer fantastic advice and create a comfortable environment. Accommodating our group of 5 on the same day was fantastic. My tattoo artist, Petra, did an outstanding job and even touched up a faded tattoo behind my ear. They even removed a stuck earring for me at no extra cost. I had a dreadful experience last week. I went in for a nose piercing and ended up with two holes in my nose and lots of pain. The store manager pierced my nose only to have the gun and stud stuck. She tried multiple times to remove it while blood was flowing down my face. Finally, she took out the stud, ouch. I really wanted the piercing to proceed without having to come back another day. I switched sides and successfully got pierced the second time on the other side. In short, she didn't offer me a refund or anything, for that matter. I found her very unprofessional.
