Thank you Tane for the stunning new spiral perm and trim done, I left the salon feeling fabulous about my hair for the first time in a long while. It looked even more stunning as it finished drying, I am certain it made me appear a few years younger again and my whānau said it looked awesome. To achieve such a fantastic result with my long, thick hair is truly impressive. Thank you so much Sharon.
Was scheduled for foils and a cut; first-time client. Upon arrival, staff were overheard discussing the scent of weed and expressing interest in it (whether joking or not, it is unprofessional) and were seen eating and walking around with food. I received no consultation, so my preferences were disregarded (despite my attempts to show pictures) and instead, I felt pressured to purchase products and add-ons. I spent the next 2.5 hours in discomfort as my hair was pulled forcefully for each foil, my head was banged on the sink during an excessively aggressive wash, and I was burnt with the hairdryer to the point where I had to request a decrease in heat. I was then unexpectedly charged an additional $40, with no explanation provided even after inquiring about any extra costs beforehand. My hair was cut to shoulder length before the coloring process... typically, I would question the charge, but I was eager to leave as soon as possible. I am now left with hair that appears grey, thick stripes of color, a small cut on the top of my now very red head, and scratches on my forehead from the brushes. I do not usually leave reviews, but I CANNOT recommend this establishment to anyone unless you also wish to shed tears upon returning home. The only positive aspect of my visit was the kind lady at the reception (Neesha, I believe her name was??). I have photos to illustrate what I requested (which was disregarded) versus what I received.
