I've been seeing Jemima for years and always feel like a Kiwi bloke after my haircut. And the yarns whilst there are always choice. I have just read the one star review posted 3 weeks ago. I was actually there for the whole korero between Jemima and the reviewer. Jemima was polite and perfectly within her rights to decline to cut the reviewer's hair. It was a bit of a tense moment but Jemima stood her ground in a respectful manner, and for that, I applaud her.
Have been a customer for the past 4 years but have been illegally turned away from this business for not wearing a mask even though I have a valid mask exemption and a negative rat test. Not going to be going back. So if like me you have valid health related exemption stay clear.
I popped in first thing on Monday (after a long weekend) in the hopes of getting a haircut for my son (2yrs old). Jemima was lovely and did a great job. I would highly recommend-$10. Not sure if barbers are fans of toddlers and want more trade but it was so quick and easy. Plus we got to meet her French bulldog. Very cute.
