So happy to have found Scissortrix! I am quite particular about my hair, so I’m always worried when I try a new place. But I fell in love during my very first visit when Rachel had me walking out with movie-star hair! The salon is clean and stylish, and quite roomy so you don’t feel cramped sitting on top of other clients. Highly recommend!
Visited Scissortrix twice now both times with the amazing Georgia. I was so well taken care of, unhurried and relaxing time while also being conscious of my previous bad experiences at other salons and therefore being rather anxious about trying new stylists. Love the salon, great products, great environment and overall favourite salon!!
I had a super disappointing hair cut with the curly hair specialist earlier this week. With loose, often frizzy ringlets, dry tips and oily roots, a tight budget, and a commitment to ethical hair products, I know my hair isn't easy. The hairdresser gave it a go but unfortunately cut my hair wet (fair enough, it needed a wash), didn't tidy the ringlets once it had started to dry off, and has left me with amplified frizz and disrupted curls days after the cut. I also made the mistake of failing to research the products used by the salon, which weren't to my liking (debatable animal ethics record, not natural). I will definitely look elsewhere for curly cuts in the future.
