Had a fantastic time at this place. The staff is friendly and incredibly talented. The tattoos look amazing.
Steve did a very simple tattoo for me, being my first one, and it held great significance. I specified the shading colors I wanted, but unfortunately, he didn't quite nail it. The lines are inconsistent, going from thick to thin randomly, and he even added a line that wasn't part of the design. Moreover, the price was exorbitant for such a small tattoo with minimal shading. I ended up paying $300 when I could have easily gotten it done for $100 elsewhere.
It's been a while since my last tattoo, but I've reignited my passion for them. The Cheerful Kiwi boasts a team of skilled and welcoming artists who excel at bringing design ideas to life. Steve has consistently surpassed my expectations. His work on my Chucky tattoo was exceptional, solidifying my choice of artist and studio. The Grim Reaper cover-up he did was flawless; you'd never guess it was covering something else. Steve's attention to detail and color matching is outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend him and the team at The Cheerful Kiwi for anyone seeking unique and vibrant tattoos, as I have returned for multiple pieces since.
