The massage was very painful, even after I repeatedly mentioned that it was sore - they continued and claimed it was beneficial for me. It felt rushed and impersonal, like I was just another client. It was not a relaxing experience at all. I requested a female masseuse, but they insisted on a male. I would never return.
Purchased a $105 package for a 50-minute massage session including shoulder, neck, and feet massage. Most of the massage was done on a chair, except for the feet. Personally, I'm not a fan of chair massages as it was hard to relax while sitting up. The masseuse didn't seem very skilled and applied too much force. Two days later, I still have sore spots on my back and neck, which weren't sore before the massage. I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe just opt for a quick foot massage for the convenience of the mall location.
While passing through Christchurch, I experienced severe lower back pain. I received a 20-minute back massage from them, which helped alleviate my pain and allowed me to get through the weekend. They were very accommodating (I requested a female masseuse), respectful, convenient, and seemed knowledgeable in their practice.
