Welcoming, knowledgeable, but post-consultation follow-up is lacking in my experience, attempted to contact the salon multiple times to inquire about my results but no one answered the phone on any occasion I called.. day before my next appointment and still clueless about whether my hair was suitable for the service I desired - ended up having to visit the salon only to discover my appointment was going to be canceled anyway due to illness - not the first instance this has occurred with a booked appointment but I understand illness happens, was offered to reschedule but I was frustrated with the whole situation and went elsewhere. I am trained and qualified as a junior stylist and have previously worked in a salon as a junior on apprenticeship, so I know what should be expected from clients in terms of customer service, and the service I received was unsatisfactory. Wasn't too thrilled with my visit and the outcome. It was all over in a quick 20 minutes and I felt rushed in and out. Coming out of lockdown, I was hoping for a more relaxed, pleasant experience rather than a hurried, impersonal job. The stylist didn't take the time to understand what I wanted. No questions about the type of cut I desired (wet, dry, restyle, etc.) were asked, assuming I wanted a dry cut when I actually needed a restyle. If only there had been a discussion about options and a request for clarification from the start. Now I'm stuck with a subpar, budget "graduated bob" due to poor communication and lack of attention to detail.
