I'm not content with the work done on my nails by Isla today 5/12/2023 at 11am despite my continuous feedback about the shaping errors not being rectified properly and in fact worsened. I cannot accept this set today and will seek another place to have them corrected. I was informed that the shaping issues were due to my fingers being uneven, which is untrue and made me question if Isla lacked updated shaping skills. Why deceive me instead of just fixing it, as that's what I'm paying for? As you can see, my nails are uneven in length, the shaping is inconsistent, and the French tips are uneven, with the middle finger having an extension that is too bulky. I have been getting my nails done for years consistently and have never had an experience like today. I am dissatisfied with what I paid for and still have to pay for them to be redone and fixed. The wax was too hot, kept breaking, and she used tweezers more than wax, making it very painful, especially during Brazilian. This one experience has put me off returning. Just to be clear I got both a pregnancy massage and a gel manicure and 4⭐️ for the pregnancy massage. It was an experience that was relaxing.
Unfortunately the gel manicure that both my friend and I got was a real disappointment. I decided not to give this feedback in store as I didn’t feel comfortable nor wanted to provide this while two other customers were waiting for their service. The set up was odd - both of us were laying on a bed getting nails done, and my friends bed next to me was unstable to the point it fell back where she was literally laying flat on her back.. could of been worse if there was an actual injury. Something the beds do but why put people on them if this is the case.. it’s just asking for an accident to occur. My nail polish wasn’t applied right to the top of the nails. The lady had to go away and blow her nose a couple times and she had very shaky hands. From my friends feedback, her nails were still rough from not being filed properly. I feel like the service wasn’t worth the $70 so highly recommend to choose another organisation for this type of pamper treatment.
