I'm not content with the work done on my nails by Isla today 5/12/2023 at 11am despite my continuous feedback about the shaping errors not being rectified properly and in fact worsened. I cannot accept this set today and will seek another place to have them corrected. I was informed that the shaping issues were due to my fingers being uneven, which is untrue and made me question if Isla lacked updated shaping skills. Why deceive me instead of just fixing it, as that's what I'm paying for? As you can see, my nails are uneven in length, the shaping is inconsistent, and the French tips are uneven, with the middle finger having an extension that is too bulky. I have been getting my nails done for years consistently and have never had an experience like today. I am dissatisfied with what I paid for and still have to pay for them to be redone and fixed. Left with no alternatives before heading overseas. Would rate zero stars if able. Requested a number 2 shave on the sides and a slight tidy on top. However, the barber proceeded to chop random chunks from the top, varying in length from half an inch to 2 inches, and butchered the sides. Due to anxiety, my partner found it hard to speak up but was left devastated. Upon requesting a refund, they insisted on attempting to "fix" it, resulting in the top hair being cut even shorter! It looked awful (refund was given). This incident led to my partner crying, a rare sight. To the barber responsible for the disastrous haircut, own up to your mistake next time instead of appearing smug. If you can't do the job properly, you shouldn't be allowed near anyone's hair.
