Wasn't too thrilled with my visit and the outcome. It was all over in a quick 20 minutes and I felt rushed in and out. Coming out of lockdown, I was hoping for a more relaxed, pleasant experience rather than a hurried, impersonal job. The stylist didn't take the time to understand what I wanted. No questions about the type of cut I desired (wet, dry, restyle, etc.) were asked, assuming I wanted a dry cut when I actually needed a restyle. If only there had been a discussion about options and a request for clarification from the start. Now I'm stuck with a subpar, budget "graduated bob" due to poor communication and lack of attention to detail. She really tuned in to my needs and knew precisely what my hair required - the colour turned out stunning, and the cut was spot on. Balayage was new to me, so I needed an expert, and Kim definitely fits the bill (she mentioned she's got 25 years under her belt). I've tested out many of the well-known salons in the area, but now I'm a loyal Mēraki client.
