Would rate zero stars if able. Requested a number 2 shave on the sides and a slight tidy on top. However, the barber proceeded to chop random chunks from the top, varying in length from half an inch to 2 inches, and butchered the sides. Due to anxiety, my partner found it hard to speak up but was left devastated. Upon requesting a refund, they insisted on attempting to "fix" it, resulting in the top hair being cut even shorter! It looked awful (refund was given). This incident led to my partner crying, a rare sight. To the barber responsible for the disastrous haircut, own up to your mistake next time instead of appearing smug. If you can't do the job properly, you shouldn't be allowed near anyone's hair. When they introduced beauty treatments like lip fillers, I knew it was the perfect time to try it out. The experience was fantastic, the numbing cream worked well, and I only felt a slight pinch. I'm not content with the work done on my nails by Isla today 5/12/2023 at 11am despite my continuous feedback about the shaping errors not being rectified properly and in fact worsened. I cannot accept this set today and will seek another place to have them corrected. I was informed that the shaping issues were due to my fingers being uneven, which is untrue and made me question if Isla lacked updated shaping skills. Why deceive me instead of just fixing it, as that's what I'm paying for? As you can see, my nails are uneven in length, the shaping is inconsistent, and the French tips are uneven, with the middle finger having an extension that is too bulky. I have been getting my nails done for years consistently and have never had an experience like today. I am dissatisfied with what I paid for and still have to pay for them to be redone and fixed. Just to be clear I got both a pregnancy massage and a gel manicure and 4⭐️ for the pregnancy massage. It was an experience that was relaxing.
Unfortunately the gel manicure that both my friend and I got was a real disappointment. I decided not to give this feedback in store as I didn’t feel comfortable nor wanted to provide this while two other customers were waiting for their service. The set up was odd - both of us were laying on a bed getting nails done, and my friends bed next to me was unstable to the point it fell back where she was literally laying flat on her back.. could of been worse if there was an actual injury. Something the beds do but why put people on them if this is the case.. it’s just asking for an accident to occur. My nail polish wasn’t applied right to the top of the nails. The lady had to go away and blow her nose a couple times and she had very shaky hands. From my friends feedback, her nails were still rough from not being filed properly. I feel like the service wasn’t worth the $70 so highly recommend to choose another organisation for this type of pamper treatment.
