I'm not content with the work done on my nails by Isla today 5/12/2023 at 11am despite my continuous feedback about the shaping errors not being rectified properly and in fact worsened. I cannot accept this set today and will seek another place to have them corrected. I was informed that the shaping issues were due to my fingers being uneven, which is untrue and made me question if Isla lacked updated shaping skills. Why deceive me instead of just fixing it, as that's what I'm paying for? As you can see, my nails are uneven in length, the shaping is inconsistent, and the French tips are uneven, with the middle finger having an extension that is too bulky. I have been getting my nails done for years consistently and have never had an experience like today. I am dissatisfied with what I paid for and still have to pay for them to be redone and fixed. My appointment got called off last minute, due to understandable reasons, but there was little flexibility in rescheduling or transferring our credit to cover the extra costs incurred by traveling to Christchurch for the one and only day they could reschedule to. Left with no alternatives before heading overseas. While the receptionist was friendly about it, I had hoped for some flexibility on the credit we had when the rescheduling was beyond my control.About

Had a tight schedule to get a couple of teeth extracted for my child's orthodontic treatment to commence. Bell Hill managed to fit her in before they closed for Christmas, which I was truly grateful for. Taylor and the team are incredibly kind and made sure my 15-year-old understood the process and what to expect. Just to be clear I got both a pregnancy massage and a gel manicure and 4⭐️ for the pregnancy massage. It was an experience that was relaxing.
Unfortunately the gel manicure that both my friend and I got was a real disappointment. I decided not to give this feedback in store as I didn’t feel comfortable nor wanted to provide this while two other customers were waiting for their service. The set up was odd - both of us were laying on a bed getting nails done, and my friends bed next to me was unstable to the point it fell back where she was literally laying flat on her back.. could of been worse if there was an actual injury. Something the beds do but why put people on them if this is the case.. it’s just asking for an accident to occur. My nail polish wasn’t applied right to the top of the nails. The lady had to go away and blow her nose a couple times and she had very shaky hands. From my friends feedback, her nails were still rough from not being filed properly. I feel like the service wasn’t worth the $70 so highly recommend to choose another organisation for this type of pamper treatment. I didn’t realize nails could stay perfect this long until I discovered Blissful Beauty a couple of years ago. Mine stay flawless for over 6 weeks, I just go for touch-ups to keep them looking full around the 4-week mark. It’s amazing. I also don’t get watery eyes in the shower with her products and nails. Recommended to me by a friend and I am so thankful. Honestly, Aroha has to be one of the best technicians in the nation.
