My whānau and I entered without a greeting, while a Pākehā couple received a warm "how's it going, how can I help?" As more people came in and out, they were wished a "have a good day," yet we remained unnoticed. Feeling unseen, we chose to leave, and he said nothing as we walked out. We were the only Māori pair there, and we were the only ones being disregarded.
Staff was attentive and this place is a gem to explore. Thank you.
