Although I have not had the chance to meet the proprietor Hugh Gordon face-to-face, our phone interactions revealed him to be a caring and wonderful gentleman who prioritizes the well-being of the community, particularly the East Coast. The staff at Gordens Pharmacy are truly exceptional.
Following our visit to Gisborne, my partner and I encountered a slight hiccup in obtaining our annual senior flu vaccinations at two medical facilities due to our non-resident status. However, Gordens Pharmacy promptly accommodated us upon our arrival, without the need for an appointment. The service provided by the pharmacy and its team was exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Many thanks to Gordens Pharmacy for enabling us to continue our exploration of Aotearoa, which we have been enjoying for the past six years without pause, with the reassurance of flu protection in our 80s.
It is disheartening when pharmacies, and their employees, become overly focused on their brand and lose sight of providing genuine, old-fashioned service. Gordens Pharmacy, however, continues to uphold these values, with a team of friendly and helpful staff who understand the importance of discretion when necessary.
