While my partner refueled our campervan, I cleaned the windshield and front of the vehicle. Then, an elderly woman approached and scolded me for using the water for anything other than windows. When I asked about a sign, she replied that common sense should guide me. A disappointing encounter, with no service provided.
I will not return to ZC Waipukurau - not our usual spot for fuel, but decided to stop by before leaving town (big mistake). The woman working there this afternoon was incredibly rude, lacking in service and customer skills - very unprofessional. Maybe consider hiring staff with better people skills.
I am keen to visit New Zealand and this gas station is the hundredth stop on my journey.
