I relocated to Gore with my husband for a fantastic job opportunity. We came here with the plan of eventually moving to Invercargill, but after witnessing how wonderful this town is and the excellent care the council provides in advancing it, my husband and I believe this is the ideal place to settle and have our young family grow. With the complimentary green parking meters scattered around town, Fibre being introduced by the year's end, and exceptional fishing spots, this will be my home and my council for many years to come! Keep up the good work, team.
A group of grumpy old women doing their utmost to resist any sort of change! The current prime minister is a fantastic breath of fresh air that they can't handle, resulting in them appearing like kids quarreling over who gets the TV remote instead of agreeing on a channel.
My brother and I visited the stunning Delamore Park today and strolled through the impeccably maintained Bush. We were thoroughly impressed and relished our time. However, we were quite disheartened by the neglected state of the Bert Newman Aboritum. Coming from a Horticultural background, we understand the effort and care that went into creating this unique collection of plants, many of which are rare or no longer accessible. It requires a knowledgeable individual to take charge and perhaps volunteers to aid in restoring it to its former glory as the exceptional Arboritum it should be.
