Alright, my assessment of The Sanctuary has to be a perfect 10 out of 10. Now, being a male, I hope I do justice in my review. I visit this place because I have severe back and hip issues, making it hard for me to bend down and cut my toenails properly! I'm in and out quickly, never have to wait long, the music is pleasant and calming, the establishment is always spotless and well-organized. The staff are friendly, always greeting me warmly, asking about my well-being in a sincere manner. The atmosphere is simply fantastic. I only get my toenails trimmed very short, so they charge me a discounted rate per session (I'll keep the exact price to myself) because it's not a full service. A big thank you from Rosey!! I wish The Sanctuary lots of new clients in 2023, and may all the staff have happiness and their dreams come true! I showed the barber a snap of the style I've rocked countless times, and she totally messed up my hair. Plus, she was running behind by 15 mins, and I couldn't stick around due to other commitments, so my slot got cut short from 45 to 30 mins. Overall, a total hair-raising nightmare. I am utterly let down. I phoned weeks prior, assured they could do gel nails. Upon arrival, waited as the artist was 15 mins late, only to be informed they couldn't do what I wanted (french tips). Just one colour, no art or details, was the limit. The nail technician was pleasant, yet crucial details like this should have been shared during booking. Otherwise, I would have chosen a more skilled salon.About

When I walked into the spa, it smelled divine and felt incredibly inviting. Received a fantastic massage from Kahurangi. Highly recommend the traditional Maori massage to end the session. Left feeling like I was floating. Thank you team.
