I relocated to Gore with my husband for a fantastic job opportunity. We came here with the plan of eventually moving to Invercargill, but after witnessing how wonderful this town is and the excellent care the council provides in advancing it, my husband and I believe this is the ideal place to settle and have our young family grow. With the complimentary green parking meters scattered around town, Fibre being introduced by the year's end, and exceptional fishing spots, this will be my home and my council for many years to come! Alright, my assessment of The Sanctuary has to be a perfect 10 out of 10. Now, being a male, I hope I do justice in my review. I visit this place because I have severe back and hip issues, making it hard for me to bend down and cut my toenails properly! I'm in and out quickly, never have to wait long, the music is pleasant and calming, the establishment is always spotless and well-organized. The staff are friendly, always greeting me warmly, asking about my well-being in a sincere manner. The atmosphere is simply fantastic. I only get my toenails trimmed very short, so they charge me a discounted rate per session (I'll keep the exact price to myself) because it's not a full service. A big thank you from Rosey!! I wish The Sanctuary lots of new clients in 2023, and may all the staff have happiness and their dreams come true! I've been a regular visitor here, everything was fine until I needed treatment for chemical burns. Despite being a registered member, they claimed I wasn't in their system and tried to charge me $100 as a casual patient. To sum it up, they seemed more interested in money. Now, I have to drive three hours back to my previous doctor, as no one is accepting new patients anymore. I've been really impressed with Pounamu Hearing in Wellington. They were incredibly supportive and patient with my Pāpā during his hearing tests and getting hearing aids. I visited them after failing a test at a pharmacy's machine, and they were very thorough in their testing and referrals. They even assisted me with funding applications. I ended up needing hearing aids, and they helped me adjust.
