I've been really impressed with Pounamu Hearing in Wellington. They were incredibly supportive and patient with my Pāpā during his hearing tests and getting hearing aids. I visited them after failing a test at a pharmacy's machine, and they were very thorough in their testing and referrals. They even assisted me with funding applications. I ended up needing hearing aids, and they helped me adjust. I've been a regular visitor here, everything was fine until I needed treatment for chemical burns. Despite being a registered member, they claimed I wasn't in their system and tried to charge me $100 as a casual patient. To sum it up, they seemed more interested in money. Now, I have to drive three hours back to my previous doctor, as no one is accepting new patients anymore. I had a wonderful experience with the staff at the reception. The woman there was exceptionally kind and courteous. I visited Kieran Caldwell for some treatment on my neck and back, as recommended by a friend. I must say, I highly recommend his services. Alright, my assessment of The Sanctuary has to be a perfect 10 out of 10. Now, being a male, I hope I do justice in my review. I visit this place because I have severe back and hip issues, making it hard for me to bend down and cut my toenails properly! I'm in and out quickly, never have to wait long, the music is pleasant and calming, the establishment is always spotless and well-organized. The staff are friendly, always greeting me warmly, asking about my well-being in a sincere manner. The atmosphere is simply fantastic. I only get my toenails trimmed very short, so they charge me a discounted rate per session (I'll keep the exact price to myself) because it's not a full service. A big thank you from Rosey!! I wish The Sanctuary lots of new clients in 2023, and may all the staff have happiness and their dreams come true!
