Massive waste of time, I booked for a hair treatment 7 and a half weeks after my previous one. The booking page says to contact them if you’ve had a treatment done within 5 weeks, and their website recommends leaving 7 weeks between treatments, and when I got there, they told me they refused to do my treatment because they usually don’t do anything under 8 weeks. I had a rough time at this store on 7th May 2024. I arrived at 8:35am to get some prints and a passport photo. The lady at the counter seemed disinterested and refused to help with the photo. Both kiosks were faulty, and she was unhelpful. Eventually, she suggested emailing the photo and using a USB at the kiosk. It took me 1.5 hours instead of 10 minutes due to her poor attitude. I missed an appointment because of this. I spoke to the supposed store manager, but he denied any issues with the staff. However, reviews online echo my experience. We had a very unpleasant experience some time back concerning racial matters. As my partner and I were leaving the store with our receipt and items in hand, not a single person was checked for their bag contents or had their receipt scanned. Strangely enough, when the woman working that day spotted my partner (Indian), she couldn't have hurried faster to approach him, ask about the receipt, and inspect our bag in a very rude manner. There was a woman right behind us (European), assuming everyone was having their receipt scanned and queuing behind us. The Kmart employee directly told her, "Oh no, sweetie, you're good," and let her pass. So out of allllll the people on that busy day, they chose to inspect the only non-European person at that time and allowed others to walk straight out. There was no explanation of the products used unless I specifically inquired, the room was dim and chilly, and the music was bothersome! The dye on my eyebrows was smudged at the edges. The front of the shop could use a good vacuum, and the staff were not in proper uniforms. I know I may be fussy, but for that price, you expect something exceptional.
