We had a very unpleasant experience some time back concerning racial matters. As my partner and I were leaving the store with our receipt and items in hand, not a single person was checked for their bag contents or had their receipt scanned. Strangely enough, when the woman working that day spotted my partner (Indian), she couldn't have hurried faster to approach him, ask about the receipt, and inspect our bag in a very rude manner. There was a woman right behind us (European), assuming everyone was having their receipt scanned and queuing behind us. The Kmart employee directly told her, "Oh no, sweetie, you're good," and let her pass. So out of allllll the people on that busy day, they chose to inspect the only non-European person at that time and allowed others to walk straight out. Absolutely unacceptable.
