Central place - The service was incredibly poor. Minimal communication, just a directive to wash hands. I was left alone in the chair with a fan blowing on my hands, unaware that the treatment was over. No massage or lotion was provided. The individual rushed through the nail treatment, neglecting to trim my cuticles and leaving glue and nail polish residue on my fingers. Despite paying for acrylic nails with French tips, I received messy, uneven white nails. The technician disregarded my preferences for length and shape, resulting in skin cuts from excessive filing and burning sensations from aggressive electric filing. I was really unsure about sharing this review, as I'm not one to spread negativity. I decided to try their eyelash service since it's close to home and budget-friendly. Initially, I was hesitant about the $60 price tag for all lashes, thinking they might be new. During the application, it felt like the lashes were placed too close to my eyelids, almost on the lash line rather than on the lashes. Though some stinging is normal, once home, my eye felt puffy and sore. I brushed it off, assuming it would pass, but later it felt like the extensions were scratching my eyes. My right eyelid swelled, making it painful to blink. I attempted to remove them myself, but the pain intensified, and my eyelids became numb and infected. Despite getting my lashes done regularly, this was a first. When I contacted them, they blamed my sensitivity, despite my frequent lash experiences. They promptly removed them and issued a refund, but the lack of apology was disappointing. This mishap not only affected my vacation plans but also raised concerns about their expertise and sanitation practices. The only reason for the one star is the nail service. I originally booked in for classic lashes but was upsold to volume for an extra $40, with the promise that they would look natural. However, I was switched from Kezia to Kirsty last minute. Unfortunately, the lashes started falling off the very next day. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested a partial refund, there was some argument. While the eyebrow tint was done well, the overall experience with the lashes and customer service was disappointing. The stylist even mentioned a "mono brow" growing in (which I hadn't had a chance to pluck). It felt unprofessional. Massive waste of time, I booked for a hair treatment 7 and a half weeks after my previous one. The booking page says to contact them if you’ve had a treatment done within 5 weeks, and their website recommends leaving 7 weeks between treatments, and when I got there, they told me they refused to do my treatment because they usually don’t do anything under 8 weeks.
