This land is truly enchanting. More signs would be helpful as it's easy to wander off or miss a spot, especially at the intersections. I adored the various garden sections. This ranks in my top 5 experiences. A truly exquisite and wondrous place. It was crafted with such beauty, feeling like a different realm. Top-notch in Hamilton. Had hair done elsewhere, disappointed with result. 2 family members suggested Modo Flagstaff. Arrived with unattractive yellow blond hair that was off-putting lol & Kayla transformed it from unattractive to elegant. Hair washed, conditioned, colored, blow-dried & straightened. Left loving it. Paid for the full head of foils treatment $159 (30th sept) I assumed she would do an awesome job like the first time I went there.... Unfortunately I was wrong...the foils were completely uneven and not just at the front..it was all over the sides and at the front, and way off the scalp line,I didn't notice until I had gone home and lifted my hair. Messaged Angela and she agreed I could come in so she could fix it... (Spent another $40 in petrol)1st Oct I went back in and she admitted she had tried a different foiling style and that's why it didn't come out right...so she put more foils in and tried to fix it...washed and blow dried....still the foils were way off so she tried one more time....once she blow dried it I commented saying "will the yellow go away with purple shampoo " which she replied "no as I've already put purple shampoo in" the front hairline was still way off with the foils but by this point I gave up as this was her third attempt In the couple of weeks that followed I tried to come to terms with my hair but everytime tried to make it look nice I would be in tears because it looks so bad (the yellow and the lines) so I messaged Angela on the 16th to advise I'm really upset about the whole situation etc...in the meantime I went to a local hairdresser to see what they advised...which was that it was an awful job and the only thing that could half pye fix it is a root smudge and a toner,until I let her botch up grow out I messaged Angela an update and asked for either a refund or $118 which would pay for the fix up job She replied over 24 hours after my first message and said their policy is rectifying the issue which she thinks she did on October 1st.She did not rectify it after attempting 3 times to do my hair therefore I should be entitled to a refund. Absolutely adored this stunning spot with gracious host & delectable cuisine, especially the Spicy Chicken that my child adored completely!! 😍
The Chicken Dumplings were also quite delightful and it was a wonderful experience to enjoy them in the chilly climate.

I recently popped into Vivo Hair, Hamilton, Centre Place for a keratin smoothing treatment, having shared my hair woes beforehand. Alas, my visit left me quite disappointed. Despite briefing the salon on my hair's tendency to turn frizzy and wavy post-prior keratin treatment, my locks remained in their unruly state, with no sign of the promised taming of baby hairs. As a patron, I anticipated a personalized and expert approach to cater to my specific requirements, particularly given the prior notification about my hair type. Regrettably, the results did not reflect this attention to detail. While I acknowledge the salon's efforts, I find myself dissatisfied with the treatment's outcome. I kindly request that Vivo Hair either re-perform the treatment to achieve the desired results or refund the service provided. I trust this feedback will contribute to enhancing future experiences for both myself and other patrons.

Today, I got a stunning flower arrangement delivered. It was a gift from my family in Sydney for my birthday. Despite a mix-up with the courier causing a delay in the delivery, Wild River & Co sent me a sweet note of apology (even though it wasn't their fault) along with a bonus scented candle and a delicious bar of Pear & Manuka Honey chocolate. Their customer service is exceptional, and I highly recommend this florist. They have won me over as a loyal customer. A big thank you to Erin & Dida for going above and beyond.

We popped in around 8:15pm on a Wednesday evening and were welcomed by a cheerful staff member who seated us promptly. There was a private larger group on one side of the eatery but that didn't affect the service at all.
We were a party of 4, travelers from abroad and we had heard about Palate and it lived up to the hype!
The lamb was superb, a generous serving with a variety of vegetables and sauce on the plates. We also tried the venison tongue cheeks since we had heard this dish had won an award, it was very smoky yet incredibly tender. The fresh Paua were delectable, the fish, and portabello mushrooms were all fantastic and full of flavor. The overall atmosphere of the eatery was delightful and serene too. Highly recommend this place as our group truly savored all the unique flavors and top-notch service!
