Following a somewhat disappointing initial bridal makeup trial for our Wellington wedding, I contacted Giselle and asked if she would be willing to travel down for my big day to do our makeup instead. I have utilized Giselle's services multiple times over the years for special occasions and have adored every look she has created for me. I had complete trust in booking her for my wedding and fortunately my partner agreed that the travel expense was justified for my happiness. I underwent two trials with Giselle due to postponements (thanks to c*vid) and on the day we even made some adjustments. Giselle truly listens and is the epitome of professionalism. My mother, mother-in-law, and chief bridesmaid all adored their makeup and I felt incredibly beautiful on my special day. Giselle is a genuine talent and you will not regret booking her for any occasion 🤍

Paid for the full head of foils treatment $159 (30th sept) I assumed she would do an awesome job like the first time I went there.... Unfortunately I was wrong...the foils were completely uneven and not just at the front..it was all over the sides and at the front, and way off the scalp line,I didn't notice until I had gone home and lifted my hair. Messaged Angela and she agreed I could come in so she could fix it... (Spent another $40 in petrol)1st Oct I went back in and she admitted she had tried a different foiling style and that's why it didn't come out right...so she put more foils in and tried to fix it...washed and blow dried....still the foils were way off so she tried one more time....once she blow dried it I commented saying "will the yellow go away with purple shampoo " which she replied "no as I've already put purple shampoo in" the front hairline was still way off with the foils but by this point I gave up as this was her third attempt In the couple of weeks that followed I tried to come to terms with my hair but everytime tried to make it look nice I would be in tears because it looks so bad (the yellow and the lines) so I messaged Angela on the 16th to advise I'm really upset about the whole situation etc...in the meantime I went to a local hairdresser to see what they advised...which was that it was an awful job and the only thing that could half pye fix it is a root smudge and a toner,until I let her botch up grow out I messaged Angela an update and asked for either a refund or $118 which would pay for the fix up job She replied over 24 hours after my first message and said their policy is rectifying the issue which she thinks she did on October 1st.She did not rectify it after attempting 3 times to do my hair therefore I should be entitled to a refund.
