Terrible place, ignores doctors' instructions, causes issues, revoked my prescriptions WITHOUT CONSENT, then accused my doctor of lying. Being privately owned, they do as they please. Moreover, there's a child running around the pharmacy, which is unacceptable. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
Headed to the chemist today to inquire about Flixonase nasal spray. A polite older gentleman at the counter directed me to it on the shelf. I noticed that there were two different price tags on the same product and got a bit confused. I asked the man about the discrepancy, and he seemed puzzled, explaining that there was no difference other than the price. I decided to go with the lower-priced one, but he refused to give it to me, claiming a pricing error and insisting I pay the higher amount. I argued that I had the right to buy it at the lower price displayed. His attitude shifted slightly, and he called another male staff member to check the product. They hurriedly removed several incorrectly priced sprays from the shelf, and he peeled off the sticker from the one I had chosen. I protested again, emphasizing that I could have stayed silent about the mistake but chose to speak up, and legally, they should sell it to me at the lower price. He dismissed my request, stating it wasn't their fault and they weren't obligated to sell it to me cheaper. I left feeling disappointed by his ignorance and disrespect for the law, along with his condescending behavior. I plan to file a formal complaint with the commerce commission for breaching the Fair Trading Act. I will also advise my contacts to steer clear of this unprofessional chemist. Truly appalling!
Fantastic team, supportive, resourceful, and they treat employees and trainees exceptionally well, setting a great example for customer service.
