I am utterly dismayed and disheartened to recount the incident with Nela at the East Tamaki shop. They turned away my nephew for an unacceptable reason. My nephew was denied service based on Nela's false claim that my nephew's guardian had declined to engage in inappropriate activities with them. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also discriminatory and constitutes harassment.
Absolutely stoked to have followed my top-tier barber Glen over to One Two Uppercuts as 1. She is incredibly passionate about the whole process, and her genuine care shines through in the meticulous attention to detail she puts into every cut. 2. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Madison while I was there today. A genuinely warm and down-to-earth individual who truly values her customers. Massive thanks to both of you for the fantastic experience… this is why I wholeheartedly support this Barber shop! And now I can proudly do so in my own branded gear! Highly recommend if you're in the area 😀
