My first time at the salon was also my last. While the manicure was good, the pedicure was a disaster. The nails were cut unevenly, the cuticle removal was sloppy, and the feet cleaning was neglected. I had to stop the service midway. It seems the team lacks the proper tools and skills. I expressed my disappointment to the manager, questioning why anyone would need a pedicure if they had to redo it at home. My cuticles were not overgrown, a little more pumice would have sufficed. It's a shame because I wanted to support a local business, but the pedicure quality is just not up to par. I have shared photos showing the difference between the salon treatment and my own care at home. The ambiance is serene, everything is spotless, was greeted so warmly upon arrival and Melissa (?) who was my therapist was delightful, amiable and informed. Unfortunately, my experience with my ombre brows in New Zealand wasn't great either. My mum and I had them done, but they have completely faded away. I've been trying to contact Pakao, but she hasn't responded. When we went for a second time and asked for bolder brows, Pakao assured us she would deliver, but they still faded. This is my honest review - I wouldn't recommend this service. Here's a photo showing the before and after for reference. 😢. Avoid it.About

Had a pleasant time and adored my nails. The individual who handled my pedicure was delightful and amiable. Regrettably, the same cannot be said for the individual who managed my manicure. She was somewhat rough, disregarding my preferences and requiring repeated reminders to adhere to my requests. Eventually, she complied, and I was pleased with the outcome. I had a great experience at The Terrace Hair and Makeup Beauty salon. The staff were friendly and professional, and they listened to what I wanted for my hair colour. They used high-quality products and gave me some tips on how to maintain my colour at home. I was very happy with the result and I received many compliments on my new look. The salon was clean and comfortable, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a hair colour treatment in Howick. At The Terrace is a wonderful salon that offers a variety of services for your hair and beauty needs.
