Popped in for a haircut, first thing the lady tells me is I need a wash, and that my hair wasn't great. She washes it then as she's cutting it she keeps checking in if it was OK to do like using the blending scissors and all. Like I'm not Gen z mate trim my hair. It was a tad pricey too but I get it I suppose.
My fella Jay gave me an amazing haircut and style. Phenomenal head massage too. Attentive 👏 I've been beaming since. Legendary mate and yup I'll be back I got what I wanted top bloke 👍I was so chuffed I gave him a hug as I left he deserves more than 5 stars 10 out of 10 from me. Bless him 🙏…
I walked in disliking my hair and having very little clue of what I wanted. Jay was so helpful, suggesting based on my hair type, face shape, and styling routine. I adore my hair now and thoroughly enjoyed the scalp massage. Regrettably, one of his colleagues was seated at a sink scrolling on his phone from the moment I arrived and only moved when Jay prompted him so I could have my hair washed. He didn't glance up from his phone at all and should have been doing this in the staff room, which is 1 step away from where he was seated. It's unprofessional. There must be some work-related task to keep him engaged even during quiet times.
