I purchased two cargo pants, one black and one green. The black one ripped after just 2 hours of wear, and the green one lasted a month! They were cheap, but I feel let down. Why sell such low-quality products? Kmart should be more careful when importing such items. Unfortunately, I didn't keep my receipt so I couldn't get a refund. I won't be returning to spend my money there.
I generally like Kmart but the new rule of scanning receipts on the way out will turn away customers. My partner was asked and he refused, he only had one small item and his receipt, but instead of letting him go, the two staff members insisted it was company policy and pointed to a small sign that no one would notice. He said no and got a refund. If you want to reduce losses, change your store layout and place the checkouts near the door like other stores, instead of treating everyone like thieves.
I had a really great experience when bringing back an item, the staff were super helpful. Some of the aisles were a bit cramped, especially when staff leave boxes and trolleys around. Took off one star for this.
