The staff in this town are incredibly helpful, always putting others first. The town itself is stunning and well-maintained. Thank you, Kawerau District Council, for your excellent service.
I must commend the efficiency of the Kawerau Council staff. I reported a blocked toilet at Firman Field at 4:30pm. The inspector arrived promptly at 4:45pm, followed by the Tanker shortly after. The pipes were cleared and the area cleaned by 5:30pm. Impressive work by all involved. Thank you to the team from a very impressed visitor.
This charming town offers a plethora of sporting amenities, a free library, and access to a heated swimming pool. There are playgrounds for children, numerous beautiful parks, and the opportunity to hike up Mt. Edgecumbe or participate in the annual Monarch of the Mountain race.
