The 20-minute chopper ride (big bird fits 5, small bird 3) was top-notch. Pricey at NZ$300pp (incl card fee), about US$177, but hey, on holiday, let's not stress over costs.
Phenomenal time. Much gratitude. Top-notch pilot and van driver. Words can't express my eternal thanks.
We opted for the Hole in the Rock chopper tour and adored it. Pricey for us, but worth every cent for the stunning BOI vistas. Pilot was engaging and well-informed, office team was friendly and efficient. Still buzzing from the experience days later, memories to cherish!
