15/9/22 Update Sophie mentioned her clients get extra time between cuts. I can now confirm that. I usually get my hair cut every 4 weeks. It is now approaching two months and it has maintained the style. Worst customer service ever! booked three appointments 2 moons out via email as was asked to put a 50% deposit down. Asked if this was standard procedure and they advised yes because of the time being booked by therapists. Totally understandable, gave my number and asked to call me to obtain the credit card details as i did not want to email them. No one called me! Then then i get an email saying my appointments have been cancelled as i didn't pay the deposit 2 weeks out from the date. They said they didn't have my number so i forwarded the email with my number and then subsequently says they tried to call me multiple times and left voices messages which they did not. What a way to run a business..

I couldn't be more delighted with the experience I had with having Tane as my hair stylist for my wedding. Tane did exquisite work for myself, my bridesmaids and my mum. Tane worked swiftly yet meticulously and all our styles came out flawlessly and lasted all day (even with rain and wind!) Tane was very accommodating with the unpredictability of our schedule and was helpful in devising solutions for our worries, especially with assisting in figuring out styles and scheduling a trial. I thought I'd try a new salon in Rotorua, but left feeling let down. The person who did my nails and toes didn't wear gloves, used the same tools for both, and didn't disinfect anything. The tools were just lying around, probably used on others too. Nails cost $50, but no cuticle work was done, just shaping and gel polish.
