Got my brows sorted at the Westgate spot over the weekend. Salon vibes were tranquil. Numbing cream applied to ease any discomfort, technician guided me through the process. Ever purchased an item online for in-store pickup to ensure it's reserved, only to find out it doesn't work that way at Mitre 10 Westgate, and they couldn't care less?
I paid online and waited for the notification to pick up my order... after 4 hours of silence, I decided to head over. I thought even if I had to wait upon arrival, at least I'd know where to collect it, as I was unfamiliar with that store and the process. Upon reaching the counter, I informed the young man that I had a pickup but acknowledged it might not be ready since I hadn't received any communication. However, when he checked, he said, "We're out of stock, we tried to contact you" (they did not). I received a refund, but there was no hint of empathy for my 10 km drive.
